Pictures for High School Seniors

We need pictures for our high school seniors. We have Robby Wenger's. We still need them for Ryan Harper, Jessica Villarreal, and Adam Gatica. If there are any more seniors, please let Mark know. We have a Sr. Reception planned for Sunday night, May 21st, for seniors that are Weber Road members.

Camp Counselors and Workers

If you would like to go to camp this Summer, please see Mark very soon. We love to have a few more Weber Road members to go and counsel, work in the kitchen, etc. Those going so far are Mark H., Grant J., Randi J., Brenda V., Darlene B., Linda M., and Bonnie O. If interested, please give Mark a call. It's July 9-15, 2006, at Camp Bandina.

Camp Money

Start saving now for your children's camp fee which will be around $130 per camper. This is for children ages 9-18, the week of July 9-15, 2006.

Thanks

  • A BIG Thanks to Denise and Brianne Alexander for chaperoning last weekend at the Cuero Retreat. We had 16 young people go with us and we had a good and encouraging three days together. Thanks also to David Zuniga, Larry Sanchez, and Sylvia Sanchez for helping to drive the vans!
  • We thank all those who participated in our recent blood drive. Stacy Stark and Karen Sims helped with signing up donors and recording all the information that was necessary. Paul Eubanks was responsible for getting the blood bank to come to Weber Road. Only five who were able to give but there were seven more who were turned down for one reason or the other. The people with the bank were pleased with the turnout as they consider fourteen a good number to volunteer to give. In fact they plan to make another visit to us sometime in the summer.
  • A thank you to the families for Christ and youth group, Shelly and the Laird family for thinking of me.
    -Lucille Brown
  • Dear Young Folks, Thank you for the Valentines and words of cheer. You are doing good work by remembering folks and doing things to help. Keep up the good work.
    -Sincerely, Wayne & June Campbell
  • I want to thank the Youth Group and the Families for Christ for the lovely valentine card. A special thanks to Emma Esslinger and Jacqueline Maberry for the beautiful pictures. Because of you my day was very happy. I love you all.
    -Bettie Jo Kirkham
  • Thank you, Weber Road, for your cards, calls, ladies’ food group led by Ranid Jackson, and all of your thoughts and most of all your prayers.
    -Sincerely Nancy and Joy
